The prices are bouncing around. It went from 189 to 139, back to 189 the next day and then down again. Now all the refurb prices appear to be lower than they were, as the DX dropped as well. Here is a current list of all the refurbished prices, which appears to subject to change at any moment.

Agreed, but my problem is not the design so much as the screen. I still say the background is too freakin dark. I bought one when they first came out, had it a month and returned it because I could not read from it unless I stood at a window or had a powerful light directly overhead. The background was so dark that the text blended in with it too much and was irritating. Other than that, I loved the thing. So, when I heard that the price dropped AND they were now at Target I ran over there to see if they fixed the background from dull grey to a slightly lighter grey or to a dull white. Nope, still too dark for my taste. So, sticking with my Sony. At the end of the day, it's about ease of reading more than any other neato features.


But for those who don't have this issue with it, then this should be a perfect time to finally grab one. I am happy for those folks.
