No issues that I've run across...Calibre retains images, TOC links and so on. .mobi is pretty limited when it comes to formatting, so it's easy to reproduce in .epub.

apple's music isn't wrapped in DRM any more.. B&N, they use adept right?
It's a newer version of Adept based on the old eReader "social DRM" - you unlock books using the credit card number you purchased them with, so you can easily share books with anyone you trust with that number. As far as DRM goes, it's about as painless as it gets. Once the B&N store is completely switched over to .epub, I'll probably start purchasing from them rather than Amazon.

What trubu said

You run one script that you input your name, and then your cc number. You only do that one time as it creates a file that the remover uses. So you get the B&N book and simply put in the book you want liberated, and the file name and location of the output file (book). Quick and painless.....

If you already have Python and Decripto installed, it's a breeze,,,,,,,

That's only for eReader format. ePub format is a different set of scripts. Similar to the scripts to strip the DRM from standard adept infected ePub.

Ahhhh I see....

I don't know as I have bought one, and only one book from B&N..... And it I guess happened to be eReader format....sorry

But, it is sweet to buy a B&N book, and read it in iBooks or Stanza.... Wait a minute, I didn't convert, so the book I downloaded was an ePub..... So maybe they have gone completely to the new social DRM?

It's not good update at all-
No control over margin, linespacing, fonts etc.
Non drm book cover art is messed up (no such problem on kindle for pc)
Page turn animation is very slow.

The margin and line space issues in iBooks and Kindle and B&N apps are the main reasons I am mainly using Stanza now. To me the inch margins just waist screen and make more page turns.... I do realize many people like those margins because of the nice look, but they should have a way to change them for people that want more text on the screen...

Different scripts. One thing i am not sure of is if the script for getting the key works with the current B&N Dsesktop Reader. I have the original version and the script to get the key does work.

can you see why they don't bother?
Or they can have the app access an internet dictionary, assuming the device is online. But ideally Apple would share the one they have via an official API.
