Yes to all of those.

Hello!

Recently I've been thinking about getting a PDF reading device for my programming books which have piled up. I don't know which one should I get and which would be easier to navigate on.

Budget ~400-450$

I simply want to put text only pdfs that I've downloaded on an ereader. I don't have to worry about graphs or diagrams or the like. Which one would suit me best?

If you only plan on reading, and occasionally highlighting, probably the KindleDX.

If you want to be able to put down handwritten annotations, the SONY PRS900.

I am also looking for a good pdf e-reader. I spent over 300 dollars on ink, and my eyes get really tired at reading the pdf's on the computer. I was thinking about purchasing the Kindle DX Graphite, but I don't like the limited options for file formats, especially since all my e-books are in epub. I think I should see in August if any newer e-readers will be available with the eInk Pearl standard.

I bought the Kindle DX graphite and I am really happy with it. Has handled all the pdfs perfectly for now. I had doubts about being able to read a pdf in "fit to screen" size in portrait mode, but I was wrong - the letters are big enough to easily read it. I hope the TOC support will be enabled with the next firmware update.

The price of the kindle DX went down to 300 Euros on amazon.com. Now I am considering to get one.
What do you think about the other options for reading pdfs like
foxit eslick
pocketbook?
I live in Austria and I dont know which products are available for shipment.
