I admit, I wonder how much will be revealed by this final autobiography that hasn't already been revealed about his beliefs and opinions, other than a few personal barbs against his contemporaries who are now TDTS (Too Dead To Sue).

Yes. I'm really not that familiar with him and have not read any of the other bios but will be interesting to see if there are any revelations or contradictions.

Sam Clemens was a mass of contradictions and proud of it. I intend to read it, having read the 1959 Neider version of it (and the forced edits by Clara). If you haven't read to ending (the death of his daughter Jean), you have missed one the most moving pieces of writing in the English language.

Nope. Woody Harrelson. Twain had a sense of humor. His autobiography was delayed by 100 years because it is a work of fiction, as well as non-fiction. See one of my posts about how he did a word play on bear and bare (#23 in the copyright thread). Part of this story has to be made up. Truth or fiction? rofl:
