Thanks guys for the thread. I could not figure it out and it would not work at all for me. Now I am doing it much faster and works just fine.

I strongly suggest you take some time practicing swiping. My friend and I both read a lot from our nooks, and nwither one of us were swpiers...before. We both have already had to have our nook replaced due to a small crack at the arrow button for page-turning, so now we swipe! (BTW, even with that small hang up I love my nook).

Same here. Without this thread I was doing a full index finger swipe. Now its a little thumb swipe. Much quicker and less movement.

Definitely made a difference for me! Had no idea how to get that swipe thing working! Reading all the different methods here allowed me to find one that works for me: Right index finger, lightly and quickly, on the right side of the bar. Like I'm actually flipping a page.
