So "less water" but "fewer items"?
Thanks. Learned something new today to make my english more good!

That's right, but, to improve your English still further, you should say "make my English better", rather than "more good" . "good" is an irregular adjective - its comparative and superlative forms are "better" and "best".

Exactly so. There's no difference in meaning, it just sounds right to do it that way.

What about offering both? Or setting up an omnibus section - and see how many downloads you get? That way readers could select the option best suited to their individual ereader?

I prefer individual books in paper format, as anyone who might have tried to read a dictionary-sized collection of Sherlock Holmes stories might agree with. As far as ebooks go, I would much prefer a well formatted omnibus (a la HarryT) over a collection of poorly formatted individual ebooks.

I guess the only consideration for me would be the ease of navigating inside the omnibus; not all e-books are equal and it's sometimes easier to locate books quickly if they are separate. Having said that, I do have the Sherlock Holmes and Shakespeare omnibuses (omnibi?) from MR and they are perfectly formatted and easy to use.

Oh, and, I just remembered; if you have a series of books in an omnibus edition, it's easier to keep track of which book is where in the series than with single books.

I like Harry's omnibuses of about a half-dozen, but I found that the Oz omnibus (Was that yours, Ralph? Maybe Nate's?) of 14 books with illustrations was too big for my jetBook Lite.

But all that I like have been novels, and in order of publication. I would not want an omnibus which had the books out of order.
