We have a winner for The Land Before ZIP Codes: The Bandit's "Catachronism" has captured the coveted feature placement in the premiere pseudoissue of Stupefying Stories!

The "... and click here to see the results!" link will be updated later this evening, once the judges post full critiques for each story that was entered in this challenge.

Updated the initial post with two new challenges:

A Truly Fantastic Book Review (lesser challenge... which just might be used in Stupefying Stories, if it's entertaining enough!), and July 4, 2050 (greater challenge).

If you would like to participate in judging the just-ended lesser challenge, Geek Confessional, please follow this link to add your comments/reviews.

Still awaiting reviews for The Land Before ZIP Codes... that link will be updated at whatever point the judges are able to post their analysis (a holiday weekend and the complexities of judging that particular challenge have delayed the review portion, although The Bandit officially won the featured spot in Stupefying Stories' inaugural issue).

Updated the initial post to include the latest challenge, Folk Tales of the Electronic Frontier (not to be confused with Folk Tales of the Final Frontier, which was another beast entirely!).

Folk Tales of the Electronic Frontier should be a popular one, as the challenge is to come up with your own, previously uncirculated urban myth.
