good book

I liked the book, I have not read the Liveship series so I don't know how it compares to her earlier works.

I thought that her take on dragons was unique. Looking forward to the next one.

trying to soften us up?

Well I did a search for the next book in the series which is supposed to release tomorrow (or today depending on where you live).

Book 2 in the series Dragon Haven is currently priced at:

Barnes & Noble
$14.99

Waterstone's UK
$28.87

Sony ebook Store:
$15.74

It looks like its going to be available through Amazon for the Kindles but doesn't have a price yet.

So I am guessing that the free novel was to soften us up for the high priced second book? Hoping that we won't notice maybe?
