For me, it's rather a fear of setting up a detrimental routine. The more I know about batteries the less I seem to be sure about what to do.

looks the battery issue is resolved. After extended use today the battery is showing little to no discharge. Looks like I'm back up to snuff again.

Yeah, all that had been tried. Looks like 13 mo on this batt. Cheap enough & easy to replace so I'm still a happy Kindle fan
