has anyone cracked this for Australia? it seems that it's all dependant on experience, since on WP people said that they were still getting the 'prove you live in the US' email from Amazon, when just adding a US address to their account, and still using an AU credit card. I'm trying to crack this for my sis, who is not very computer literate

I thought just getting a new Amazon account, using VPN and using a giftcard should do the trick?

Hi, could you elaborate on this solution for a Nook user to buy directly from the reader? TIA

Not anymore it seems. I have registered a legit US address, but they require some proof of living there (I can't remember the exact content of the e-mail) and I have not been able to DL US only books after that.

Sucks big time!
