Just interested to know...
Wacom Pens use EMR technology to "talk" between the tablet and the pen. The Pressure switch inside the pen also uses this signal to recognize how much you are pressing with the pen and where on the tablet.

I have a Wacom intuos pro Small graphics tablet I travel with. I find switching between it and different mice helpful w/ RSI issues.

I use also a XP-Pen Artist 12 Art tablet With Screen . Works fine for me.

Not too much point in dragging a 2-year-old thread back from the dead, is there?
2 years seems like such a short time ... compared to now.

However, the title did make me think, "Hey, I've got one of those Wacom tablets from decades ago down in my spare parts box in my basement (probably sitting next to the 110 baud modem)!" It's probably, what?, RS-232 interface? I don't think they had invented USB yet when I bought it. I'll have to see if I have a serial-USB adapter down there and fire up that Wacom to see if it still works!

Please don't ignore the prominent warning that tells you you're replying to an old thread. The chance of your reply being of interest to anyone nine years after the question was asked and answered is very low.
