Since you offer multiple formats, I would recommend providing the ability to filter which formats show up during a search or through browsing a category.

I was just browsing and noticed that the General Fiction and General Non-Fiction are swapped. By that I mean the fiction books are listed under non-fiction and non-fiction under fiction.

That said, once Star Trek ePubs are more available, I'll definitely be buying them from MyEZRead, as the prices are definitely the best. (What this means, in part, is that S&S isn't one of the evil publishers. to S&S.)
I second all the Star Trek books to be avaliable in epub

Also was just having a more in-depth look at the site and the prices are great! Many of them even cheaper than Amazon! And certainly cheaper than most other places.

How different do ADE epub and pdfs look in comparison? I have only bought epubs. Anyone able to provide screenshots or verbally mention the difference in terms of reading?

My problem with PDF's is the font is too light looking. After a while I feel like I'm straining my eyes reading it.

When I am looking at a specific book, it would be nice if I could click on the author and get a new page with all the books you carry by that author. I'm not the only person who reads by author.

(I'd not only pay, I'd put up with DRM for an erotic novel by P'Terry.)

I concur on your idea to have ALL the titles by that one author come up

Dear ALL:

Yes, I too would like to see ALL of one author's eBooks come up when you click on "author search". This is a decent suggestion and our eBook Specialists will look into that.

I also am one who leans towards EPUB more than PDF. I do not know if there is a difference. I DO know that some publishers just release in one or the other and not both. If we can get both... we do.

eBook Specialist will look into P'Terry. Is that the full name? Do you happen to know who the publisher is?

Thank you, all, for the wonderful comments. All are fuel for our very eager and passionate eBook Specialists!! They eat this up!! Your LOVE of books is certainly shared. One of them reads a novel a night!! We hired that way. People were screened FIRST for total passion towards eBooks... then for technical background needed on FaceBook, Twitter, Events, and flawless English with a style to their writing!!

Yes, that would be great! Also, it would be nice if there was a way to sort a search. Maybe there is and I'm just missing it... but I'd like to be able to sort my search by price, author, and maybe publish date or series order. For example, I did a search for Star Trek. I don't have any of the Star Trek books but I would be interested in reading them (I've read a few of the paperbacks over the years) and it would be helpful if I could set it to sort according to the series, so I could see the books in order. I don't know how easy or difficult that would be though.

Also, I look forward to when the full site is up and running and we can suggest ebooks we'd like to see! Like the Stargate ebooks... currently they're only available in Kindle, but according to their website (http://www.stargatenovels.com/) they will soon be offering ebooks in other formats.

Anyway, I love the looks of the bookstore! I just downloaded my first free book last night, and although I was dubious about the formatting, it looks really good! I tried downloading the same book from google books a few weeks ago, and some of it was all garbled. So somehow it's been cleaned up. (It was a scanned PDF, and although the PDF looked good, the epub didn't do so well with getting some of the words right.) Oh, I just downloaded it again from google and the words are easy to understand, so maybe I downloaded it from a different source previously. In any case, I think I'm gonna love the new ebook store!

Just some general comments:

I agree that it would be nice to be able to search by format, since I greatly prefer ePub over pdf.

Some of the book description pages didn't code correctly. Several of the ones that I looked at had html markup on them. Others were walls of text that were hard to make out on the screen. I looked some of those books up in Amazon and found the same description with better formatting.

It would be really nice if you had one entry for a book with all of the formats available, especially for the more prolific authors. I noticed with Anne McCaffrey, for instance, that one book might show up several times, sometimes in pdf and other times in ePub. It would be much easier if I could choose the book and then click on one of the formats to purchase that format.

It becomes a little tedious going through an author's works when there are several copies of the same title scattered throughout. See also above.

It would be nice if the author searches were a little more precise. I wouldn't have expected that searching on Connie Willis would bring up every Connie in your database. It appeared that most of the actual Connie Willis books were near the top, but I spotted a few further in. I don't think people will have the patience for this.

Some of the books are missing covers on the search display page and had a generic MyEZRead cover instead. Clicking on other covers opened the descriptions page, but with these books you could only click the More Info button.

It would be easier to search if there were two search bars, one for author and one for title. Yours seems to default to title and I often search on author, so that became an annoyance.

I'm impressed that it handles misspelled words well and produces titles even though they aren't exact matches. I do wish that the search remained visible in the search bar though, so that I could adjust it if I didn't get quite what I expected.

The prices are great and the search engine is very fast.

I'm not sure how you do it, but I would recommend getting your bookstore included in searches by www.inkmesh.com and http://ebooks.addall.com. Both of them are great places to comparison shop for books. Your prices are competitive, but people still have to find you.

Hope this is helpful.

> 1. EVERY title will be in EPUB or PDF or both! Your life becomes a lot simpler!!

PDF? Why? Astak doesn't sell a reader where these PDF will be a good reading experience.

I see that you've not yet taken on board the new Agency pricing model.

http://www.myezread.com/book.asp?EAN=9787770641190

That is a link to I, Alex Cross. You have it at $16.99 and the price is supposed to be $14.99 under the new agency pricing.

I'm sorry, Robertb, I wasn't clear. I was thinking of the box on the upper right hand side that has author, title, etc., when I'm in the record of a book. Click on author there.

P'Terry is an affectionate fan nickname for Terry Pratchett.

I really need to be more clear. My apologies.
