Yeah, they've gotten better, but I suspect you've not read long texts on one if you think they're anywhere in the same league as a purely reflective e-ink display.

Probably not anywhere near as nice as e-ink, but lets not get into how many pages I've read at a stretch with my clunky old Gemstar 1150. I'm one of those "stay-up-all-night-to-finish-the-book" kind of guys.

My reader is being delivered tomorrow via FedEx so I'll have a good chance to compare. Woo-Hoo!

So what is the consensus? My Sony 505 will be arriving on Easter Day (my neighbor is bringing it from the States). I need a light for reading, at night, when the electricity is off. Here in Costa Rica that's a necessity!
