There's plenty of stuff on the 600 allthough I cannot understand that Sony did not put the clock right where it belongs (this is only to have with russification so far as I know). It's just so great to see how late it allready is when you read a good book

I'm glad you like it. I now somewhat regret selling it for the reasons you mention (although it never struck me as light). My suggestion: use a wrist strap. That's what kept it in good condition. Otherwise it would as chipped and scratched as my old 500.

P.S. am thinking of cheating on my 700, if the flirtatious iPad rendezvous works out.
I think the 700 will wait patiently untill your flirtation with the Idud wears off....and it'll take you back no probs!

I'm glad you parted with it! I like the EZ reader, but the 700 makes ppl ask me what it is and what it does etc.... The EZ reader never got that reaction. My partner has the Kindle V.2, and ppl don't really like it's form......

I am very glad I 'Buckled' and went the Sony, but without Calibre it would be a great paperweight for me...
As to it being light, well, it's comparative, and just might be all in my head, too, being smaller than the EZ reader with the same size screen.

I simply love the in built side-light and touch screen, and am (personally) happy to sacrifice some contrast, at least untill the is a unit with the same functions, battery life and type that looks like "Lacquered black chopsticks laid on a white linen tablecloth"... I give it about a year for that.

Oh, and you can always come an visit the 700 if you ever get the urge to come down under!
