http://www.walmart.com/ip/Body-Glove...-Case/13025666 is a nice case for the jetbook lite. Its a bit big but is nicely padded and leaves you room to put in your usb cable and extra batteries and such if you want. The same case fits the ebookwise reader though its a little snug.

Usually on Ebay they are about $24. If you have problems finding it online. I can look up the place I have and post a link.

Thanks, Ellen -- I'll check out some of the places you mentioned.

I just found this on eBay:
EVA Armor Hardcase for Sony PRS-300
I bought it. The cheapest one at the moment.

I ended up buying the Go! Jacket made by M-Edge for the Sony Reader Pocket Edition. It fits my Libre great. I got the black one.

http://www.medgestore.com/products/prs300-go.psp

I also bought the e-Luminator 2 booklight which slides into the side of the jacket. This was a waste of money - the little spot light doesn't cover the entire screen. Much better is this LED earlight I got from Amazon:

Podpeople,

I finally got myself the M-edge platform cover for the Sony Pocket edition. Fits my Libre just right. The feel and smell of the leather is very nice also. I like the way the cover folds back and attaches by the strap to form a triangle, then I can support the Libre with just one outstretched hand without my fingers having to grip at anything.

I agree that the eluminator light is not as great as it seems, the light barely covers the screen after adjustment. But m-edge ran a sale where the with the book cover the light came to about $15 so it wasn't too bad a buy, besides its AAA battery unlike some of the earlights that take a special disc battery. Also, I found that using a neck light it bothers my wife if I turn to talk to her and the light shines straight at her face!

I am still satisfied with the case that came with my Jetbook which by the way is identical to the one that came with the Aluratek Libre Pro. I know because I 1st had a Libre and then returned it for the Jetbook. Currently the storage pouch allows me to place the unit in my inside coat pocket. Did anybody notice that you can add a carrabeaner to the case's close tab so that it can be attached to the outside of a backpack etc.

I did like the "Brag Book" idea. But, being a guy I would prefer something that emulates a leather Day Planner in Black, Grey or Brown. I still want it too be compact so as to fit in an inside jacket pocket. I do believe you need either a snap tab or a zipper closer so as to prevent it from opening while trying to put it away.

So now I will target places like Wal-mart, Staples, Grand & Toy, Zellers, GT-Bo as well as some craft stores and even the local DollarRama in my search for an inexpensive make do case.

My JetBook measured at 4.25" wide by 6" long and approx .5" thick.

I'll report back what I come up with.

The official Jetbook cover looks very much like a day-planner. My coworkers seem to think it is when they see me carrying it around, they have no idea it's my reader, lol.
Since my JB is white, it even looks like paper in it at a glance...

Two thoughts on jetBook jackets...

There is a nice leather sleeve available for the jetBook Lite. It has a cut-out on the back to allow for the removable battery cover and does say jetBook Lite on the front, but it looks nice from the picture I've seen. I saw it on eBay a couple of weeks ago.

The standard leather Sony Reader case has two pins that clip into holes at the top and bottom of the Sony. Has anyone had the nerve to take a Dremel to their jetBook to drill a couple of small holes to use that case?

Not being the OEM it would be a real shame if this action ended up destroying the tabs that help hold the unit together. One would also have to open it up to see what is behind the plastic at those locations (Circuit board, wires, ribbon cable etc). Oh yeah and by the way if it had a warranty that would be out the window as well. With the other unit the holes were part of the plan - not an after thought.

I went to Dollar general and picked up a black 'pleather' hard photo album for $1.
Tore out the center picture holders (easy as glue was weak) and added 4 pcs of velcro to the back of the Libre. Works like a charm and has held up great for 3 months.

This one is not a case but rather a sillicone cover but it works perfect on my Libre Pro:

http://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Jetbo...d=IIW7XC9Y6N64

It is sold for the Ectaco JetBook. Per my research the hardware (at least the outside) is identical!

Decalgirl.com is making skins custom fit to the Libre. I'd been looking around and saw them for the Kobo, but was quite surprised to find this website making them for the Libre.
