I always expected 9" inch reader to be bigger but this doesn't look larger compared to my
v3 hanlin and still has a bigger screen can anyone state their comparable dimensions

Try this size comparison. The Asus has nearly the size of an Irex Iliad, but has a larger screen instead.

That still image of the reader being held (the one to the right of the actual video) seems like an awful "stock image" for an e-reader. I think that in an attempt to appear "shiny and new" they managed to evoke the dreaded "touch-screen-as-mirror" . Hopefully that's not an image that they use when they start marketing the device. Oops. Other than that, though...I want one =)
