Yes you can. You can choose to see filenames or metadata. Metadata must be done the right way. If the name and author is set properly you see it in the bookshelf. I do not know about tags
You can mark the book as "not yet opened", "being read" and "finished". You see all books and I am not aware about option that would let you see only one kind. A small icon next to book shows state. You can set the book to any state using context menu. There is another icon that shows whether the book is in memory or on card.

Thank you very much, very nice features. I hope the metadata are OK, I improve all of them with paper book cover, tags meaning genre, description and series. Another question: in thumbnail view, can you see if the book belongs to a serie?

You said you'd be the one maintaining it... perhaps you can have your own SD card ready to sneak in when the time comes :P

By the way, microSD cards never fail to amaze me. to think I can have 32 or 64 gigabytes of data, that is, more books than I will be ever be able to read, in something not bigger than my thumb nail is really... incredible.

In fact, I'm thinking about buying two pb360 with my extra in March, and keep one for me, the only thing that worries me is if the possibilitie of extra taxes.

By the way, it's interesting to make notice of that concerning SD cards (when I reviewed the device I had no access to it) the access time when reading from it instead of the own device is not significantly larger.

The only thing to note with some microSD cards (including the one I have) is that they make the machine boot twice. It starts up, tries to access the SD card, reboots, and then everything is fine.

anabelee: if you buy it in Germany at the pocketgoods shop, and get it shipped to Spain, you will not pay for taxes as it is in the EU. If you want to buy it in the US, you should do it quickly, the € is going to go down pretty soon I think.
