So far I haven't been able to make out any really big changes in the new Firmware.

I think it was just a small "hotfix", but a good one anyway.
Sound is now off when I set it to off and the shutdown bug is gone too. The page-jumping bug is still in, but I think they just haven't found the caus of that one yet.

I did a battery life test today. Almost 9 hours. Up from 7.5 hours in the 2.6 version.

That's the biggest change that I noticed - but I do like the fact that the Up key now exits the current document.

You hi tech guys - I found my Z80 was quicker to read the update media than the PET or C16, and it's splashproof! :-)
