Ta for the tip, I am a long time Open office fanatic. so will try that instead...Can you use book designer for simple things..?.. I am not much for detailed transformation of books. I just want the content to look decent.

Yes, BookDesigner can actually do quite a lot, but it is also quite simple to use since it is a WYSWYG sort of book editor.

Don't have nor want OpenOffice and my source files are all HTML, which I use to make epub, mobi and PDF with... So, I'll stick with those formats.

Oh yeah, convert all my files (except nice epubs from here) to fb2, the reader and it's options is much better and editing if I need is also much much easier then epub. Sigil is not quite where existing fb2 editors are.
