I would say absolutely the same, if the device renders at 1024x768.
There are still a lot of older home systems that can only do 800x600 (the resolution of the PEz).
The question:
Does a direct sales business want to alienate those possible customers, just so they can be geeky-cool?

Requiring flash to read/use a website, is like building a highway, then requiring special proprietory-design goggles (even though they're free) to read the road signs.

Was this site designed by the same person (who should be fired) who designed the Astak website? And speaking of the Astak website, the home page not only has a flash menu with flash animation, it's way way too busy looking.

Believe me, we welcome criticism also. So, I am glad you posted. The webmaster is being beaten with a cane after being hung and forced to read paperback books!

The Astak website IS far too busy and everyone hates the flash. Both items are duly noted and will be changed as soon as we can do it.

The hardware is fine. It should be able to display the website. But the problem is that Apple does not support flash. So there is no way to use the website as the menu is flash based and you cannot properly navigate the site without flash.

I am sorry. You are right. We will talk with the webmaster in Taiwan and see what can be done. He is working on a huge project for us that HAS to be ready next week and it may be 7 business days before he can correct the flash on this site... but we will try to get him to address this.

You can actually download flash for MacOSX here; http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/ or here; http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

Flash is CPU intensive and consumes a lot more battery power.
A think, 1 time flash is tolerable, but all that moving junk => Oh my!

But for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch, there is no flash and as such, you cannot properly browse the Astak website as the menus are in flash. No menus should ever be in flash.

It's a failing of the website as no site should require a plugin to be used. Sure you might missed a few odds and ends. But to navigate the menus, no plugin should ever have to be installed.

Robert, this website is terrible, like yours where you are trying to sell e-book readers. Fire your amateur, and hire a serious html programmer with a style, and with brains. I can give you free advices. Even if you are selling products made in China, your website cannot look so cheap.

I take your post in good faith. I KNOW you are simply telling it like you see it.

I WISH we were in a state of excellent financial resources. Then, maybe we could get someone far better. I do not know. I just know that this last depressing recession has made things tough.

Also... I myself am Business Development and have little say on picking the website designer. I do hear you and others; and we will try to do better.
