But would diping the cover cause issues with reassembly? That stuff will also be on the inside as well.

Right now this is just idle thinking. But, that wrinkling problem, now past, is one of the things that got me to looking.

It's not that far passed...There are still some out there being sold as new with issues. Granted I did buy it from an ebay seller but it was brand new sealed in the box. Mine isn't exactly wrinkeling but the coating is already starting to come off right next to the page turn buttons.

I would love to be able to change out to the metal body half if they ever become available. I love this thing so far.
