Right apparently they have given an incomplete address to UPS (an issue I highlighted to them earlier as they keep leaving out the 2nd half of the road name). So my new iLiad is stuck in Barking.

Barking or Barkingside -- ah, the areas of my childhood -- I know them well.

The good news is that my replacement is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, the bad news is that I'm on a business trip until Sunday! My credit to iRex for shipping a replacement as soon as my defective arrived at their repair facility. They definitely followed thru on their commitment.

OK, my optimism is getting stretched to the breaking point. I just returned from my trip, unpacked the new iLiad and put it on the charger. The good news is that it appears to be charging. The bad news is that it won't turn on. When I hit the power button the LED will change from red to orange and the activity light will flash, but nothing comes up on the display and I mean absolutely nothing. It stays as blank as when it is off. I just can't believe I got a second DOA unit! I'm going to let it charge for awhile and see what happens. Any suggestions?
