That article stated "Not a Valid Copyright Claim" was the problem.
Simple questions:
Are you the Copyright owner for the document?
Is the another assignee that could have conveyed authorization?

3rd partys without power of attourney can be ignored :/
Stand up for your rights or the G will trample them.

I *am* the copyright owner. The publisher was rather desperate at the time to publish the book (which nowadays he wouldn't be because times have changed) and I negotiated in the contract that I owned the copyright. The publisher has all marketing rights, which is as it should be.

I shall certainly look further into this. Thanks for the heads up!

Your publish may have authorized it (unless you retained exclusive e-rights).
