The screen is supposed to get a matte finish in the final product so it won't be so shiny. I think they are going to be at the MWC next week so I'm waiting to see what they show. They go through some elaborate gesture pictures on what the device will be able to do like shake it to turn a page but they don't show the device actually doing it nor do the confirm whether it will be able to do it at launch, reminds me of another company that makes promises about what the device will be able to do but it just never is able to. I'll wait and see what they come out with.

Just beware of the "grass is always greener" syndrome. Since the Que is a brand new device and nobody has gotten any real world experience with it, we don't really know if it's any better than the DR1000. Most products will look great based on the companies demos/etc, but they don't always reflect what the real product will be like in normal usage conditions. We also don't really know what support will be like either.

FYI, Que's website says they plan to start shipping in mid-April.

Maybe they had so many pre-orders that they could only send me one a month later than mid April if I pre-ordered one now.

In anycase I am not in a hurry. So I am going to follow your advice, and see what others say once it has been out for a while. Plus there will be other similar e-readers popping up too. What I don't like about the Skiff is the black spot on the left frame. It makes it look unbalanced.

I definitely prefer an e-ink reader.
It looks like it's possible to type a text in an already existing document in the QUE.

That would be handy. Specially with one of those programs that let you even edit already written PDF documents. A lot lighter to handle than my laptop. And less glary... : D
