thanks, Wiz! I will be having fun with this all afternoon. At first I panicked because it wouldn't power up....had to press the ON button for a few seconds. Is that normal?

Yes that is normal 1 to 2 seconds to turn it on and 4 to 5 seconds if you have reset the unit.

Keeps it from turning on by accident and using your battery
