I don't watch football but always feel like I've missed something important because I miss all the commercials. What's the best way for me to see the best, say, ten commercials tomorrow? Does someone rebroadcast them together or stick them conveniently on the internet?

Actually, what I really want to see is Steve's commercials. So where do I go to do that? Adrian's Bar and Grill?

There seem to be lots of sites... Check out http://www.superbowl-ads.com/... it has a pretty complete listing of commercials back to 1998. Or http://www.devlib.org/reviews/superbowl-commercials/, with listings back to 1969. Google "Super Bowl commercials" for more.

I suppose mine will only be seen in our drunken hallucinations (though, ya gotta admit, they could be seen in worse places...)

I was rooting for the Colts... oh, well!

And I did see the commercials. I'll be honest: I wish I could have replaced a few of them with mine instead!

Oups, sorry! I don't watch football, I just happened to catch the last 10 minutes or so of the game, and tend to root for the underdog as a rule when I don't know who I'm dealing with. Hope the food and beer was good, at least!

Yep, I agree! The first site you listed was flooded during the game, but I manage to access it afterwards and the commercials were, for the main part, not so original. You should get writing for next year! (please!)

BTW, how can CBS afford so many Superbowl commercials?

When you're the one broadcasting the game, you can cut yourself a few breaks. Besides, they were making so much from the other advertisers that they could afford to snag a few spots for themselves. Supposedly, CBS sold 69 30-second spots for almost $3 million dollars each, so we can guess their bring-home was around $200 million, before the NFL's cut, at least... not bad for 3 hours' work, eh?

I did notice, though, that most of the advertisers seemed to tone down their commercials' use of expensive special effects in favor of more traditional stuff... probably a sign of the tight economy, and the cost of buying an ad slot.
