While I can see at times that perhaps for home use only an 8" Jetbook might be ok.
I don't know if I could justify paying for it.

And it certainly would not be anywhere near as portable.

Thats part of the success I think of the Jetbook is that you can take it anywhere.

Me too. The JBL is great for reading novels, but not so great for reading PDFs. The screen size is too small (this cannot be helped) and it doesn't have free zoom ratio (this could be solved, but apparently ECTACO's programmers won't).

I'm waiting for the new Adam Android Tablet from Notion Ink. It uses a 10" Pixel-Qi screen:

I second the motion on rubberization, like on the EBookwise EB-1150. You can hold on to it with one hand with much less gripping fatigue. I got some of that bumpy looking no slip shelf liner you can get in Walmart and put it on the Lite's battery cover with double sided tape.

I find that USB cover a nuisance because you need to grip the reader to open it (often pushing side buttons while doing it), then with it open, the locking tab is perfectly positioned to obscure the status LED. These readers are not waterproof anyway, and I would love to just cut this cover off. But the other end of the shaft would fall into the unit and rattle, and I don't feel like trying to take it apart. I'm too busy using it.
