@TaKir

I'm afraid you won't be able to do much if you don't register. I think you could talk to somebody at iRex by phones or email (using the irexshop contact button) to ask about delivery to Russia.

@Everyone

One thing I find VERY dissappointing is, that the 2.5 software still only offers 8 hours of battery life...if it manages 7 at the moment, then the deactivation of WLAN and the throttling of the Processor alone could more than double that time, so why only 8 hours?
That's really strange.

Looks like order numbers are above 800 now ... some of those are probably B2B purchases, but it looks like there is a substantial interest.

If there appears any 'obvious' job offers on the iRex site, they may be having trouble catching up ...

Wow. According to their web shop it is $810 not counting shipping. I am glad I got in early and got mine for $739 with shipping.

At that price, now we know why they 'opened' the shop.

1. Demand is higher than expected at this early stage.
2. Supply is most likely still limited.
3. Trying to 'drive' b2b quantity business (I'm assuming that the price is for one, not 10 or 20).

Still, the news is good that they have another 200 orders since I placed mine. I wonder how many units that is?

Public company???? What exchange & ticker symbol?

Well, I just ran a straight, up-to-date currency conversion from Euros to US dollars, and that's what it came up with (actually about 811$ ), so it's not that they're over-charging their (potential US customers). I don't know about the shipping, but either way that's a lotta moola..

I ordered it thru the irexshop! (order number : 859) The cost was $748.97 including shipping. Are they giving discount or something? By the way I'm in Korea and that's why the shipping costs almost $50 I guess.

Interestingly, their "Level 1" "developer" documentation (how to optimize content) is not on the developer website but in the Download section of the company website. Which I guess makes sense because it is not really aimed at hard core developers.

I was number 734 yesterday so it looks like they're seeing a steady stream of orders.
