The notefunction is working well in pdfs.
The Pocketbook 360 does not have a note-taking facility. It has the ability to "clip" text from the book you're reading, and copy it to a "notebook". It does not have the ability to write your own notes, which is what's being discussed here.

Hey people thanks for the posts

My point is I am not a native English speaker and I would like to improve my English by reading books with a dictionary ability like prs600

And Isn't that possible to read pdf books with prs600?I have some pd books which are pure text and I would like to read them when I have the prs600.Is it possible to make the font bigger on these pdfs and read them through prs600 easily?

Thank you very much

Yes. And yes.

You can zoom, and you can reflow, and there are 5 text sizes. You can highlight, you can draw by handwriting, you can add a note, you can add a bookmark, you can search a keyword, you can see the table of contents, you can look up words using the embedded dictionary. You can do all of this on PDFs. And on ALL of the other formats.

As far as I know, NO other 6" ereader can do it.

Let's see what Samsung will able to do. Anyway, it will be much more expensive.

Useful thread this is, as I've noticed that the glare is an issue to consider when purchasing an ereader.

Samusung has 2 new readers coming out that has handwriting recognition. It might be worth looking into.

The Onyx Boox (or BeBook Neo) is capable of all of the above, too.

I don't know about the Onyx, but the Neo currently only support note-taking on PDF files; all it supports on other formats is text highlighting.

That's correct, but the Onyx team is working hard on adding features to the Boox & Bebook Neo so I expect the device to get better and better.

The PRS-600 however will not magically get less glare on it's screen. For me that was the main point in not buying a PRS-600 but to go with the Onyx Boox.
