Look again; they extend above the reader in the landscape picture.
Nate stood in front of this display taking the photo and he says the screen is as reflective as it looks in the photo so I see no reason to doubt that. Hopefully the new screen will remedy that but I'll need to be convinced with a demo.

Looks like the 302 wont be out until March at the earliest. Meantime I decided to pull the trigger on the PRS 600. I'll come back to PocketBook later in the year when I'm getting a reader for my daughter.

Is the 302 really going to be out in mid February with a new non-reflective screen?[/QUOTE]

PocketBook 302 will be available in mid February with a reflective screen.

OK. Who is the source of the mid-February date? Is this from the company? Are they taking pre-orders in the US?

Dunno if there is a preorder for US.

I only know, that you can preorder for EU with the offer to change the reflective screen against a non-reflective for free (you only have to pay postway), if you preorder

Ah, so no US date. Unfortunately, It's looking more and more like I'll have to go with a different reader.

Not yet. Honestly, I don't like pre-orders, much, but from this interest that I see on the forum, I'll have to open pre-orders here as well.
At this moment, the date is broadly stated as "March", not knowing exactly when in March. I hope it is going to be end of February, eventually.
There will be two colors - black and white and the price will be $339.99 in a "standard" accessory package.

I take it the reviews will not happen now until the screen has been replaced with a less reflective one?
