I would like to be able to assign thumbnails to folders: like HarryT I have my books arranged into folders for authors, so most of my library view is boring folders. One of the things I like most about Iink is the beauty of its rendering, it's a shame I don't get to use it more!

Another suggestion, if they run out of useful things to implement.

A text input dialog box, initially it may support only ASCII, with possible additional latin/cyrillic letters in the future, then maybe even eastern scripts. It could then be used for:

- a direct dictionary input. Currently the only way to use a dictionary is to highlight some words in the text of a book. But if you want to check on a word that isn't in the text, there's no way to do it. If there was a way to input a word, we could then search for it in dictionaries.
- a text search in the book. Currently there is a 'Go To' option, but you can only go to start of a book, end of a book, or some page number. It would be nice to be able to search for all occurrences of some text in the book, and then move between them. The obvious way of navigating books with no table of contents would be to search for 'chapter', for example.

And yet another one:

- The way to move books and folders between folders in Folder view. It would be enough to add two commands in the menu: 'Select current object to move' , and 'Move selected object to current folder'. Copying books does not look at all useful to me, but moving them between folders, for example, moving all books you have read to 'Read' folder seems useful - and probably very easy to implement.

I´d like to add some details regarding the status bar bug:
It´s not only in landscape mode, but in portrait as well.
It seems to me that the status bar is just overlaied onto the rendered page.
(And, as far as I remember, that has not changed since v1.2)

A question to the opus users:
Does the Opus allow you to use landscape mode in the library and other files than PDF?
If so, i hereby request change of orientation for the Gen 3 as well On the Gen3, only the PDF viewer allows me to rotate to 0, 90 and/or 180 degrees. (so, 270° turns needs to enable two options - who knows why?) And, what´s even more irritating, the status bar stays right were it was, at the bottom of the device, so if you read something in landscape, the status bar stays on the side.

@Eowyn: Do you collectively send the Bug report/feature wish list to bookeen, pretty please? You are propably the most bookeen-friendly person here Be sure to link them to this thread and invite them to read and comment any time (Keep the first post up-to-date for that matter)

Yes it does. You can use landscape in the Library view and in ePubs. I haven't tested any other formats yet.

Let try to make a list of features that would be nice to have, bugs to fix, all that.

Bugs
- The +- shortcuts on gen3 sometimes won't answer (btw making these shortcut works for pdf too )
- Metadata for ePub not read anymore
- The Status Bar is hiding images and hiding text for pdf files in landscape mode. This seems to me to be an obvious bug.

All / Menus
- Beter getion of landscape mode without the accelerometer. (Menus, ePub can be swiched to lanscape only with the accelerometer)
- shortcut to activate / de-activate accelerometer.
- Ability to display in the folder field, how many files/directories there are in it, and how much space they take (can be empty fields until folder is entered, or when the information is old)
- Encoding selection
- Assign thumbnails to folders
- A direct dictionary input.
- Move books and folders between folders in Folder view.

Mobi
- Page numbers

ePub
- Hyphenation
- Bookmarks
- Dictionary
- Multi level TOC

Do you mean going back after following a link? It worked when I tried, I believe.

It doesn't seem to support image links, though.
