For another slightly different Arthurian tie-in you could try Mark Chadbourn's Age of Misrule trilogy. Not sure of its e-availability outside Amazon though.

Another Arthurian-themed body of work I haven't seen mentioned is Patricia Kennealy's 'Kelts in Space' stuff. The Hawk's Grey Feather starts her Arthurian cycle, and The Copper Crown, etc, is the first of her other, related work (written earlier, set later). |

I have to say that the Mary Stewart Merlin books are my favorite take on the Authurian thing. Aside from Monty Python, of course. They, along with Tolkien, LeGuinn's Earthsea books, Narnia, the three McCaffrey Dragonsinger books, and Madelein L'Engle's Time Quartet comprised my childhood canon. Actually, I should also include Grimm's, Wind in the Willows, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Secret Garden, and Jane Eyre in that.

Sony has it as well. But I still doubt the authenticity. |

I think it was pointed out when this 4-book compilation came up as a "bargain" in the Deals forum that it was most likely a non-legit copy, with one of the posters saying it was pretty much identical to the fanmade Darknet OCR.
Assuming this is the same source as the Kindle version was. |

Yep its legit
Hi Guys
Been reading the "Legacy:Arthurian Saga" and it seems the right stuff even thought it has not been cleaned up much e.g. contents and some of the text in bold. I got it from Ibooks at apple through my ipad so that might be the only way yo get it. tc chewy |

Another great series based on the Authurian legend is Jack Whyte's the Camulod Chronicles. It focuses more on the military/historical angle rather than focusing so much on Merlin as a wizard, but it's another really solid, great read.
And I'll just put in my hurrah for Mary Stewart's series. I, too, started my reading of Author with that series. I still have the paperbacks of it and those will be books that I won't let go of. ![]() Jan |

I don't think anyone has listed "Sword at Sunset" by Rosemary Sutcliff. I have an old paperback - don't know if it is available as an e-book.

They're very good. My mother read them to me when we were staying in the cabin in the summer. I have them in DTBs in my library. Even if there were legit ePubs of them, which there aren't, I'd want these physically. They're DTB-worthy. I wish they're be a decent TV or movie adaptation of these.
