Oh no, another fight over language! Can't we linguistically divided just get along? One man's liseuse is another man's ebook reader, after all...

Particularly given that AprilHare started this thread, it seems frankly inappropriate for anyone else to try to dictate what word choices are acceptable. Please try to stay on topic and avoid any superfluous debate about semantics.

Thank you.

Yes that's right A while back I wrote a little script to download 99/100 of the books in the DS book collection in EPUB or Mobi The 100th had copyright issues for me and a few more would too have copyright issues in the US.
Someone authored a program to generated better looking EPUBs than what Project Gutenberg distribute having been inspired by my script!

I held back from ringing partially due to cost; ringing their free lines was free for me, but ringing Laredo directly would have cost; the rest due to me waiting nervously

Extremely rude. or maybe being rude is equal to semantics nowdays? Who knows...

It seems to be very good (better than before?). Maybe they changed my battery! I have yet to see my Reader lose a bar of charge.

How interesting.
There are so many complains about battery loosing its charge within a few days after the upgrade.
Go figure...

It did come to me initially discharged - but I believe that may be because sleep mode was off and Sony had left the device on. A recharge and she was a beaut

How long does it run on a single charge now, after the upgrade?

I haven't discharged it yet! It's been a couple of days now since recharge. Still full bars.

Just used it again, a bar dropped. 1 bar in two or three days?
