oops, just reread the orginal post theese links are for individual books not a zipped archive.

Yeah thanks, but as you note, not a zipped collection. I guess these people want to minimise their site's bandwidth, hence no large downloads. I may look around for a torrent of legal ebooks, but happily, after I posted the message, my Astak arrived with an SD card with heaps of free books.

There are torrents of the various Baen CD's that are legal to download (See the CD label included an all but #1),
They include Multi-Formats of the same document so a Bulk download is not always the smallest you will use.

PG has a SF CD torrent and a few others. Since these Classics are all out of Copyright, they will not be the latest.

An announcement early next week will appear on here that will bring a ton of for sale eBooks and copyrighted eBooks. This will be an Astak creation. We are doing final work on pricing and lay-out of the website... and then I will post.
