...in fact it looks like UK/European customers get access to all/most of the series already.
If you look at the other books they list you will see that the others aren't actually released yet in the uk either, it's just that whsmiths seem to have some aversion to clearly displaying when something is actually a pre-order.

They will be releasing one book each month, so it will be November 2010 before the new installment is published as a e-book.

The third (Dragon Reborn) is in Kindle - but not yet available for US residents.
