Patience is indicated here. When the Sookie Stackhouse "boxed set" was released at around $40 (if my memory serves), the price began to fall later that day, and continued to fall to $29.

Since that boxset includes eight books, that's actually a really good deal.

Good for you getting the set for $5.27! I love it! LOL on Amazon!

I don't have the Kindle, but awhile back (when the 1st movie came out) had gotten 3 of the books for cheap as well as 100% rebate on Fictionwise, and 1 on Sony cause one wasn't in a format I could use for my Sony 505. Why Fictionwise wouldn't offer one of the Twilight series books in PDF is beyond me.

Thanks for the heads up on this deal. I pre ordered it at $5.27 for my wife and didn't tell her. She has all of the pbooks and has been wanting the ebook versions. She was surprised when she turned on her kindle this morning and I was surprised when I checked the account and saw that Amazon honored the low price.

I really wouldn't be suprised if Amazon put this up so cheap for a short period to get more people to see that the bundle is available. Smart idea, actually...

Once in a while you can catch them when they're changing prices. If they make a typo in your favor and you catch it and place an order, hurray for you.

You can buy a this set at shortcovers.com in ePub for 30.67 or something but then use the code someone posted here before "holiday" and its down to about 23 dollars which is 25% off for one ebook but I tried using it to the set and it worked. I think today is a last day for the discount. It may not be 5.27 but hey 5.75 per book isnt bad, is it?

I got it too. Figured for $5 and change why not.

I really don't like how they have no links at the front to each book so you can skip right to say book 3 or something, but I guess for as cheap as it was I can edit it if it ends up being a huge deal.

If it was a mistake, which it seems, I'm kinda surprised they honored it. They don't generally honor pricing mistakes on other types of items anymore from what I've seen.

Well thanks to Wifey we caught this in time too. Happy to report that Amazon did indeed honor the $5 price. Good deal indeed.

On the "content" side of the book, how does the Twilight series compare to the Sookie Stackhouse series? I love the light and sassy touch in the Sookie books. I haven't tried the Twilight books. Would I like them?

I was lucky too and got it at $5.97, I was annoyed that it's one big book. Only thing I did was go through it and put bookmarks at each new book.

Here are the location # if anyone needs:
