In too many conditions, the screen of my reader is too dark, whereas a paper book is perfectly readable.
I'm pretty much in agreement. I have pretty much given up typesetting Chinese ebooks altogether because of the low quality of the screens.

this shold help bring down the costs of the reader through competition. i also like the innovation of the touch panel built into the display instead of on top.

However, I will not buy another ready unless the contrast ratio is near that of a regular book and it is color.
