Yes, if the fonts are embedded (they usually are).

I wanted the prs600 because of built-in dictionary and "notes".
Unfortunately, Sony don't sell any Ebook in my country. OMG! Such a good thing so far away ![]() |

Thanks for your help.
At the end I chose the 505 because I don't really need the dictionary and the notes. |

Hi I have a PRS505 and PRS300 and I find the PRS300 faster, but that could be as it takes fewer books than the 505 which has two memory cards, filling these slows down the 505 considerably. I also have an iRiver story which I find much more faster than the 505. it allows you to search for authors and titles, deleting and loading books is extremely fast. The 505 takes about 15 mins to reload itself with the same amount of books as the iriver which takes under 5 mins .The page turner is more smoother on the iriver. The menu on the 505 is better. Both also play mp3 however the story can hold notes. If you want something that looks good, go for the 505, however if you looking for speed and convience go for the iRiver story. |

I'd go for the 505 everytime. The screen is very good much better than the 600 which suffers from terrible glare and the contrast is not as good.
