Cleaning out my storage unit. I've been doing a little at time over the last couple of weeks. It's scary and depressing (so much junk and things I've re-purchased because I couldn't find the originals) but I'm making progress.

Changing the cables of my dad's AV system, reserving a tuxedo for my brother's wedding and making enough alfajores to feed a small army.

Decompressing after three weeks of trekking and diving in Thailand. Cut a nice swath across the country (lots of train/bus/ferry), but plenty more to see - I will definitely be going back. Awesome holiday, even with the minor food poisoning on the last day (and glad it was the last - ever tried diving with diarrhea? Neither have I but I can imagine the logistic problems it would cause with the wetsuit and all)

Having the reader along was a great success - managed to get quite a bit of reading in while on the move and in between dives. I even managed to put in a little studying for my upcoming CCNA exams. Got a lot of people interested in ebooks, although I haven't seen any readers for sale (didn't spend a lot of time in electronics stores though); the staff at the Sony store in Bangkok was a little mystified by my device (ouch!).

I spent the day on an Amtrak going to Chicago to go to the season opener for the Jffrey Ballet. Othello. Wow. Just wow. The Joffrey has got to be one of the best companies out there, espcially with the modern stuff.
