when i went grocery shopping this evening, stunningly, the store was full of marzipan and all the christmas cakes and cookies. in OCTOBER. i blame dg.


(even though actually i love marzipan and i ended up buying more of that than real food. still, it's the principle of the thing. besides which, it can't be good for me to eat so much gingerbread.)

That is the upside of it. I really hate all the stuff going into the stores at this time of year, with the exception of the food. especially the cakes and marzipan.

the first time I was stationed in Germany, my best freinds had an apartment in back of the Lebcuchen bakery in Germany.... that was also yummy! and it was walking distance from their place to the krist kindle markt. ahhhh! hot Nuerenburger brats, gluhwein, sparkling decorations, red cheeked glistening eyed happy children..... I wanna go back!!!!!!!!
