On the Mac, iTunes is fine. On Windows, it is a slow, bloated, crash-prone pig of a program. Granted, I have a very large music library. I use it (only) to sync my Touch because Apple forces me to. For sync with my older iPods and other mp3 players, as well as music library management & playback, there are much better choices.
