Bummer - I was excited but forgot I own a Kindle. Any chance this deal exists for Kindle people?

Yeah -- that's the danger I expose myself to every time I log on to pick up the freebies each month!

I looked, but didn't find a similar offer at Amazon.

Thanks

I don't have my PRS-600 yet, but I went ahead and got 19 books, most are free, but I picked up the Mystery bundle and the Complete works of Sherlock Holmes. I know Sherlock Holmes is avaliable for free, but with the poor quality of some of the scans and having to locate all of the different works, the $6 price was well wroth it. I hope to get my reader next week or shortly there after when I get time to get to a Best Buy with a coupon. Sweet deal. Thanks for the tip on the free reads and the bundles.

Just FYI for future reference, but The Complete Holmes and thousands of other books are available free here on Mobile Read. These books have been hand formatted by some of our members. Although $6 for Holmes isn't bad provided it's formatted well and not just a quicky conversion of Project Gutenberg's files.

I don't usually read these kind of books, but your recommendation and the price made it hard to resist!

Thanks!

Me neither (although I had considered reading Joanne Fluke for a while), but heck, you can't beat that price.

I've already read two (not Candy Cane Murder) and I really enjoyed them. This Pen for Hire is defintely more of a book a woman would enjoy though. More of a chick lit bent to it.

You may want to check the free PD books available here. I think you'll find them all well formatted, and a pleasure to read.

You can sort by author, or title, or format. Look above and click on the "ebooks" tab. Currently, I believe there are over 11,000 available.

Your Sony would want the LRF format..........

I'm not certain what you mean about the poor scans, especially (if?) talking about Harry's incredible work on Sherlock Holmes.

If you have yet to do so, check his out - available here on MobileRead for free. I don't say this because I'm a Moderator here; rather, I say that because his collection is very beautiful and very satisfying.
