Thanks all of you for the responses.
On September 23, it seems that IREX announced that DR 800 SG will be available in selected Best Buy stores on October. The price is set at $399.99. More information can be found on their website (http://www.irextechnologies.com/about/press). The features and the price seem to make it a strong competitor to Sony PRS-900 and Kindle DX.
