I am SO sorry, SD Rebel. I have sent out a good thirty to reviewers and they are all perfect. I have plugged in and tested a good 40 additional here and the batteries are perfect.

This does NOT make it any easier for you, I know. Have you called yet?? We aim to make you happy! 1-866-368-8788
yup, I sent it back on Thursday after getting a RMA on tuesday, from Amy. You should have it in your hands soon, since I sent it back with priority mail

one thing that makes me less happy is that those with paint problems are getting free shipping both ways while I had to pay to ship it back, when I was the one with the brick.

No, seems the "normal" time SEPOMEX takes to deliver from Mexico DF to Guadalajara is around 7-15 working days

Well, every week have 5 working days for SEPOMEX, so that means 1-3 weeks until the PP reach my hands

At least you live in a big city with more than 1 million inhabitant. I guess that in small cities and village, sepomex comes every six months or whenever they can fill up a truck.

WOW...I was not aware of that issue. And here I was ready to begin shipping product to Mexico after decades of "not a chance". Given the state of merchant card account policies for shipping/delivery and refunds/chargebacks it's just not worth the couple dozen sales/yr we might generate.

ANyway, cannot wait to read about Chiron's experience with your new goodie!!

If you wanna sell to Mexico, just avoid like hell Sepomex "Correos de México".
That means not using USPS as they forward their package to Sepomex, as Chiron have discovered.

You should rather use some private transporter. Like Estafeta, Senda, or some US companies working here like UPS or DHL.
I use them a lot as I have suppliers all over the country, and I haven't had any problems yet. Land shipping usually takes 48H-72H, by plane 24H.

Depending on the products you are selling, if may be worthwhile selling abroad. Look at www.bhphotovideo.com, by being the only respectable site selling readers abroad, they have gained a lot of customers.

Wee, my new Slate Blue PP just got into my hands =D Unfortunally it suffers from "griffonwing grandmother's thighs" syndrom on the right frame of the unit.

Seems weird that my parcel arrived to my city on September 19 but acording to SEPOMEX they leaved some message for me to pick up (wich i havent got yet)

Is on its first charge cycle of 12 hours, more after it ends and i have some time to play with it.

Oh yeah, i didnt pay customs or anything, i just went to my postal office and got it

yeah... GGT syndrome is horrible! Sorry to hear about that.

But it is awesome that you didn't have to shell out for customs!

the USPS Mexican version is the problem. The "private" shipping companies are not bad.

until the client/customer gets dinged for the "brokerage fee"....but nice tips on the private parcel carriers if it's a must. Ironic I get better service to Asia, all of the former Soviet countries and even freaking Iran than to Mexico. Then again Canada Post is no walk in the park nor is the postal service in Italy. France is hit and miss. Japan often gets delivered faster than it would have in the US.
