The Dan Brown book that comes with the 600 from Waterstones is in the form of a gift card for £9.50 that should be somewhere in the box. I don't need the Dan Brown book, so I tried the card for other purchases, and it worked! It's not limited to the Dan Brown book - bonus

(Am I the only one who's finding all the anti-600 threads on here a bit scarey? I love mine!)

Are these Dan Brown books and sticks being packaged out of USA only? Anyone in the US get any "gifts"?

Not at all.....biggest complaint seems to be the reflection which I don't find bothersome at all.

I bought my PRS-600 in a Capi shop at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. It also came with the 1GB Memorystick with 250 free books on it (Dutch, French and English language books).

The price was 300 Euro's including vat.

That's what I've meant. Wonder how much would that be with a leather case. They go for roughly 30 EUR on Dutch sites.

No memory stick. The week before I bought mine, though, I got a brochure in the mail that promised a free book - but then I lost the brochure and I can't find any mention of it on the Sony web site.
