I like to write notes in my Bible, but that is about the only one.

You should delineate fiction from non-fiction. I was forced into the habit of making notes in my non-fiction text books in college, however, notes in my fiction books are mostly to correct errors, or to mark a scene or name to return to.

Sacrilege or not, my memory has gone to crap, (actually it's called menopause) and I have to jot things down if I have any desire at all to remember them!

Wiriting in books -no. I prefer to either use post-it notes or write the notes in a notebook.
