Guess that's what happens when I've been away from the South for too long. Thirty some-odd years in the military traveling the world has killed my Southern drall....

My twin, who recently passed, was climbing a small bluff years back. He was about 25 feet up, when out from a crevice in the rock, directly in front of his face, came an owl. It startled him and he jumped back, lost his grip, and began to fall, rotating like a cat, until he landed, arms still extended in climbing mode, face-first belly-flop on the gravel below.

My uncle took to calling him "Hoot".

Dear All:

It has been a while since I last bashed Griffonwing for killing off his parrot and riding a toilet instead of a car.

I thank all of you for continuing the true helpful spirit of Griffonwing Bashing that I started. I think it is good for the soul!

I will immediately post when the four-colors of Pocket PRO arrive. I expect this to be really, really soon. I just do not want to post "they are coming on a certain day" and then disappoint. I think it is better to physically see them in our warehouse and then post.

All the problems have been resolved... so good news is coming soon.

Y'all com back now, ya hear?

Which problems? You had several on the burner. eReader problems? ePub files page number problems? font problems? speech problems?

Or was that the problem of how to entice a mercenary troop of flying monkeys to head down to the Ozarks to quiet one persistently pesky person panting for a preordered Pocket Pro?

'Tho really, once you've hired the flying monkeys, you'd be better off just having them deliver the preorders...

I was referring to the paint inspection pulled by Chinese customs. That seems to have been resolved nicely; and we are just waiting for a definite date for arrival in our warehouse so I can post.

I'd love to get back that far. Right now I'm stuck at 1690 and unless/until easier methods of checking those early records come about I'm afraid I'll be stuck there.

All I can say is that we expect the shipment this Friday. It is not firm until it gets in the door... but all of us have been asked to stay late until 2:00 a.m. shipping out Friday Night and Saturday Morning. Sign up for a tweet (see other thread about where to sign up) of notification and you will know the second they arrive if they arrive.

This reply is based on the assumption that you meant LOLCAT.

As for me, the words and spellings they use for the LOLCATS and GOGGIES are enough to make me want to not only shove a 2ft long stick down my throat, but also poke out both of my eyes.
