When ordering from Apex directly, does anyone know if there is DRM attached? (Obviously the Smashwords link is DRM-free.)

I'm pretty happy about the fact that my DRM-locked purchases (not worried about freebies) total only 99 cents so far. Trying hard not to make a habit of paying for DRM, when there's so much good DRM-free material out there.

They are DRM free, you just get a download link which expires after several downloads. I had a slight issue with a download manager but Jason Sizemore there was very quick to sort it out for me.

Another resource that people might find interesting is http://www.fiftytwostories.com/ which is a Harper Perrenial site which publishes a free short story weekly. They recently had the Neil Gaiman one from the 'Stories' collection I previously mentioned.

If you look down the bottom of the page there are a list of short story collections, I clicked through a few of them and they all seem to be available directly from Harper as epubs. Collections rather than anthologies but there might be something there of interest.
