I got the Proporta case for my 600 from the Sony Store. it is gorgeous. Soft black leather, with firm boards back and front, slighty padded and fixed using the standard sony clips. It has a large pocket on the inner front and it just beautiful. I was going to get the standard sony cover but when we opened them instore the Sony one was very bendy and this one was so firm and was far better quality. It also has a smart pinstripe inner fabric lining, really lovely and I am very pleased with it.
I never really found one I was happy with for my 505 and ended up with around 5 different cases for it, till I found the tri-fold which for me was the best. This one is fabulous and a real keeper. Though I may take a look at the lighted cover, just because the integral lght may be nice while travelling, though I know the case itself won't be anywhere near as nice as this one.

lol, can't find any pics online, may try to take some later. It just looks like a black leather case but feels so nice.....

well done, that is it, and its gorgeous quality, love that pinstripe inside too lol

I have the black one. The purple looks odd with the grey inside, not as nice as the black with pinstripes

That looks sweet. Hopefully it comes to North America soon, as I don't know if I can hold off buying a different one too long (I'm coverless as my PRS-600 is my first reader).

The interior of the M-Edge case is microfiber.

Looks like the price has jumped back up to $24.99 at Amazon and on M-Edge's website.

cries I so want that cover in purple. I just got my 600 today at best buy all they had was black so I settled for that was hoping for red but meh. As of now it's charging and I plan on using the sleeve till I find something exactly like that cover or that cover. I dont care for the interior of the sony cover its not soft enough and i dunno if I care much for the m edge I had one for my kindle a while back I didnt like the straps.

just thought of this what about the oberon covers? I just looked and they have them for the 700 and the 505 if I were to get one of those what size would i need to order for it to fit the 600?

Wondering though...does it close magnetically or only with the strap? Also, does it fold back behind nicely? I do have a cousin who lives in London and my company has an office in London so I bet I could figure a way to get that pretty thing here...how badly would purple clash with red ?

the 600 version I have, has no strap its just a book style cover, it does have a magnet on the middle front edge, though the pocket goes over it so it does not clamp quite as firm as the 505 ones did......it folds back wonderfully, lays open flat if you want to rest the reader on your lap, no hands needed to keep it open, it just flops open and flat first time. It also folds back really well, no strain needed to get it to go back, it is perfect in use, no complaints on having to wait for it to wear-in so it can be folded back, it just does it out of the box.

I want this:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...se_f_Sony.html

It should offer a good protection to the E-ink display. I haven't seen it in Europe yet.

I am sure that this is not the best case for a 600..., but I bought a 505 leather case for £12.50 in the UK, as opposed to about £40 for the 600 case from same source (W.H. Smiths.) I aim to use it to start me off and then, perhaps, later on invest in a better case.

I hope you know how fragile is the glass substrate in the E-ink display. I carry my reader everywhere, ussualy in my backpack. I need a case that offers more protection than just a leather case...

Looks really interesting... and CaseLogic is normally quite good.
