I'm not sure. I posted the inside dimensions of the Book Armor in another thread. I know the height is 6.9" but I don't recall the width off hand.

my 505 in armor case fell a few times out of my cargo pants pocket onto concrete and hard floors, so I'm glad too it still works.
Hey, maybe we will get some dare-devil type guy on the forums that will test the limits of the fall , say from 1 floor drop, 2 floor drop, having it run over by car, throw at wall, etc and post videos of it. I know I have seen people do stuff like that will other products.
You were lucky to pick it up for 20 dollars I picked mine up for 34 dollars on amazon, but it was worth it in protection.

According to their (Omniscience Inc.) eBay site, it is available from Amazon UK. Apparently also from their eBay to Canada and worldwide. Seems expensive for shipping to Canada, I'm not sure of other places.

The 600 fits in the original BookArmor case using a standard Sony leather cover. But they have a new version that will fit the 600 without any additional cover.

The problem with the new version is that they designed it for all three of the new readers. That's great if you end up with the Daily Edition, but it's obviously much longer than the 300 or 600. The other problem is that you have to attach velcro-ish strips to the back of your reader to attach it. IMO, the original case plus the old version works better. Alternatively, the CaseLogic case seems sturdy and is a better fit.

Dear Mythbusters,

Is it actually possible for Sony Reader in BookArmor case to survive a hit with RPG-7? The story is part of the folklore on MobileRead forum...

I've read a couple of times on here now that the BookArmor Delta case is too big for the 600 and 300, and only fits the Daily Edition. The Daily Edition WILL NOT fit in the case. The 600 fits with a little space around, about a 1/4"-1/2", which leaves room to access the ports and power plug thingie. Admittedly, the 300 has quite a bit more room around it. But until they come ot with something smaller, I'll use the Delta case with the extra room, for the protection that the BookArmor offers.

Oh, and about the velcro-ish strips, I like them because they hold the reader in very securely. It makes the reader and case into one solid unit. And they aren't actually velcro, more a plastic-y type stuff.

BookArmors on sale and new smaller version

Yes the bookarmor for the 505 will fit the 600 if you use a Sony cover with it. Alternatively they have another version for the 600 that you don't need a cover with. And, bonus, they've put the bookarmors on sale.

Also, I've read that the BookArmor 300 case is way too big, but it seems they've come out with a smaller version for the 5" readers.

I just noticed the BookArmor price dropped on Amazon.co.uk. Guess the dollar conversion is helping! And with free shipping too!
